Matt Jenkins is a licensed attorney in the state and federal courts of Nebraska and Oregon. Mr. Jenkins was born and raised in Nebraska, where he also attended law school. After practicing civil law in Nebraska, Mr. Jenkins and his wife moved to Portland, Oregon, where he practiced various areas of the law. He eventually specialized in collections law in an environment where the debtors often simply had no money to pay. When practicing collections, Mr. Jenkins represented his creditor clients while being respectful and polite to all debtors. It is his philosophy that all sides of a conflict are best served when the parties and their advocates act in a respectful and honest manner.

When practicing bankruptcy, Mr. Jenkins maintained his respectful and honest attitude and is now able to assist the type of clients that are most in need of his services. It is an unfortunate reality that the continuing global financial crisis has greatly affected people from all walks of life. Even in Nebraska, the need for bankruptcy relief is on the rise. It is Mr. Jenkins’ goal to continue directly assisting people in need and educating individuals on the law.

Shortly after the birth of their first child, Mr. Jenkins and his wife returned to the Midwest so that his son could grow up in the same family-friendly environment that Nebraska provides. Mr. Jenkins is now an associate with DeMars, Gordon, Olson, Zalewski & Wynner.
